For those of you who are extremely nervous about coming to the dentist, we can offer appointments with extra time so that we can discuss your fears with you and see if there is any way we can help you to overcome them. By being sympathetic and understanding we hope to be able to gain your trust. If we can’t offer the reassurance you need we can offer sedation.
Sedation
By offering sedation you are still awake for the procedure, however you will be totally relaxed and in a dreamlike state. The whole procedure will be a distant memory; you will not be able to feel any pain or really remember the procedure at all.
Topical Gel
For those who have a phobia of needles, this is an ideal solution. A numbing gel is applied over the area where the needle will be inserted. This therefore helps your confidence and attitude towards the dentist grow and change. As we offer a number of different flavours such as pina colada, the experience may even be a pleasant one.
The Wand
We offer this service for a pain free injection. A computer is used to give you the right amount of numbing liquid at the right pressure and speed so you have a pain free experience. We don’t start work on any procedures until the area is completely numb and you are happy for us to proceed.
